On December 29th, 2022, twelve KOICA-Ajou Civil Society Leadership Batch 1 students from Asia had a chance to meet three civil society leaders who are actively working in the field in Ramada Plaza Suwon. During the luncheon, participants could share their latest update on their career and plans. Three presenters, Anas Zaidoun Tharwt Talhouni(Jordan, Saemaul Undong Jordan- Managing Director), Ani Lama Waiba(Nepal, Green Climate Fund- Operation Analyst), and Sadia Afrin(Bangladesh, Concern Worldwide- Volunteer) shared their experiences and knowledge with the students and gave them insight on their next step after graduating from Ajou GSIS on January 5th, 2023 and going back to their home countries in the same month. This event was a steppingstone to developing a stronger network between the professionals in the civil society sector by bringing the students, graduated professionals, and faculty members together.
