GSIS held ‘Share Your Country Report’ Event

Graduate School of International Studies(GSIS) held the 'Share Your Country Report' event. The presenters were the GSIS students enrolled in the ‘KOICA-Ajou University Energy Studies Master’s Degree Program’ conducted by KOICA and the Graduate School of International Studies took charge of the presentation.


Byoung Kwan Kim, Dean of the Graduate School of International Studies, Suduk Kim, Chair of the Energy Science and Policy Department, Jae Sung Jung, Professor of the Electronic Engineering Department and 20 international students from 17 countries attended the event held at Yulgok Hall on June 2nd. The international students are talented public officials and experts working at public institutions in each country invited as participants of KOICA's (Korea International Cooperation Agency) global scholarship program enrolled in the GSIS Master’s Degree Program.

The students presented and shared information on the current state and issues of the energy field in their country based on their studies at our university.

Students enrolled in the ‘KOICA-Ajou University Energy Studies Master’s Degree Program’ studied energy policies such as ▲energy independence, ▲energy industry development, ▲green growth, ▲climate change response, ▲energy education, at the Graduate School of International Studies. 


The Graduate School of International Studies has five departments: International Business, International Trade, NGO, International Development & Cooperation and Energy Studies.


The goal of the ‘KOICA Master’s Degree Program (Energy Studies)’ is to contribute in ▲ providing a high quality education ▲ economic development ▲ responding to climate change ▲ building partnerships among the UN SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals).
