[GSIS] Course Registration for 2021 Spring Semester

1. COURSE REGISTRATION

• Course Registration Periods: February 22 (Mon.) 9:00 am ~ February 24 (Wed.) 23:59 pm

* Course registration periods for New students are February 25 and 26. As there are limited spaces for the registration of each course, we strongly recommend you register courses as soon as possible during the course registration periods.

• Course Syllabus: February 22 (Mon.) – You can check with the Ajou portal-학사서비스(New Academic Affair Information)

• Course Registration Change Periods: March 5 (Fri.) & March 8 (Mon.) 9:00 am ~ 23:59 pm
• Course Drop Periods: March 12 (Fri.) & March 15 (Mon.) 9:00 am ~ 23:59 pm – You need to consult with GSIS office via e-mail to drop courses.

2. IMPORTANT NOTE

Ø  2021 Spring semester starts on March 2(Tue).

Ø  In the 2021 Spring semester, various kinds of online courses will be offered along with face-to-face (+partial face-to-face) classes. To see each course's class and test type, please find the attached 'Classes and Tests types for the GSIS 2021-1 semester' file and check the Syllabus of each course.

* Plans are subject to change in accordance with the COVID19 situation.

Ø  Though the course type is online, tests can be conducted offline. (For current students living abroad, professors will provide opportunities such as online exams, live-zoom exams, homework, team projects, etc.)

Ø  You must have internet access at all times during 2021 Spring semester with no excuse.

Ø  Your attendance will be counted via online (Blackboard), except the face-to-face classes.

Ø  There will be assignments that must be submitted by the given deadlines of each course. Therefore, you must check the syllabus and notice on blackboard of each course every day.

 

‘Business Communication’ by Prof. Troy is a Joint Class with Graduate School of Business.

 

※   Thesis

 - If you would like to graduate with a thesis, you must check the thesis writing eligibility before going onto your 3rd semester. Refer to your student handbook for more information.

-  The 3rd semester students who would like to graduate with thesis writing should register "Research 1" course.
 -  The 4th semester students who would like to graduate with thesis writing should register "Research 2" course. 

 -  The 4th semester students who would like to graduate with thesis writing should register "Research 2" course. 

 -  The 4th semester students should CONTACT GSIS office to fill out the form before the course registration change period and check that all the courses will be completed for your graduation requirements.
