[GSIS] K-Petro, Transmitting Korean-style energy management system

The Korea Petroleum Quality & Distribution Authority (Chairman Joo-Seok Son) held an invitational training on the ‘Korean-style energy management system’ for 20 energy experts from the Graduate School of International Studies at Ajou University from 17 countries, including Colombia, for two days from June 9th to 10th.

Since 2017, the K-Petro has signed MOUs with developing countries such as Mongolia and Peru, and has continuously promoted technical support and exchanges related to quality and distribution management of petroleum products.

However, as overseas eventswere restricted due to the prolonged COVID-19, the company sought a breakthrough in overseas cooperation projects by collaborating with domestic energy-related organizations such as the Daehan Oil Pipeline Corporation.

This training is aimed for foreign energy experts residing in Korea, including Korea’s oil industry status Petroleum product quality and distribution management policy and technology Demonstration of special inspection equipment.

Joo-Seok Son, Chairman of the K-Petro, said “Through this training, we hope that advanced Korean energy management technologies will be shared abroad, contributing to the development of each country and serving as a bridge for Korean energy-related private companies to expand overseas.
