[GSIS] Course Registration for 2022 Spring Semester

1. COURSE REGISTRATION

 • Course Registration Periods(For Current Students): February 21 (Mon.) 9:00 am ~ February 25 (Fri.) 23:59 pm
 • Course Registration Periods(For New Students): February 24 (Thurs.) 9:00 am~ 25(Fri.), 28(Mon.) 23:59 pm
 
• Course Syllabus: February 20 (Sun.) ~

 - You can check with the Ajou portal-학사서비스(New Academic Affair Information)
 
• Course Registration Change Periods: March 9 (Wed.) 9:00 am ~ March 10 (Thurs.)  ~ 23:59 pm
 • Course Drop Periods:
   March 16(Wed.) 9:00 am ~ March 17 (Thurs.)  ~ 23:59 pm
 
     - You can not drop a course through AIMS. To drop courses, you need to consult with GSIS office via e-mail to drop courses.

2. IMPORTANT NOTE

Ø2022 Spring semester starts on March 2(Wed).

ØIn the 2022 Spring semester, most courses are offered in face-to-face (+partial face-to-face) format. Each course's class and test type will be fixed in the beginning of March. A few courses that are only offered online are marked 'Online' on the timetable. 

* Plans are subject to change in accordance with the COVID19 situation.

ØSome courses' names have been changed since the 2021 Fall semester. For more information, please check the attached 'New, Changed Course List' file. 

ØYou must check the syllabus and/or notice on the blackboard of each course every day.

ØFor current students studying abroad, please contact the GSIS office via email. 

Ø(For only online course) You must have internet access at all times during 2022 Spring semester with no excuse.

Your attendance will be counted via online (Blackboard), except the face-to-face classes. You must check the syllabus and notice on the blackboard of each course every day. 

Though the course type is online, tests can be conducted offline.

Thesis

       - If you would like to graduate with a thesis, you must check the thesis writing eligibility before going onto your 3rd semester. Refer to YOUR student handbook of your admitted year & semester for more information. (https://gsis.ajou.ac.kr/gsis/academics/handbook.do)

     -  The 3rd semester students who would like to graduate with thesis writing should register "Research 1" course.
       -  The 4th semester students who would like to graduate with thesis writing should register "Research 2" course. 

     -  The 4th semester students who would like to graduate with thesis writing should register "Research 2" course. 

       -  The 4th semester students should CONTACT GSIS office to fill out the form before the course registration change period and check that all the courses will be completed for your graduation requirements. Regarding it, the new person in charge will inform you of more detailed information with a separate email.
