NUBI Ajou (Student Volunteers)
NUBI Ajou, organized in 2008, is a volunteer group of Korean students who offer support to Ajou GSIS students to help them adapt to life at Ajou University and in Korea. The name "NUBI Ajou" represents exploring and discovering Ajou and the world. The student group organizes various events that benefit both Korean and international students and encourage students to share their different languages and cultures.
Through NUBI Ajou, Ajou GSIS students have had the opportunity to participate in the Korean-Buddy Matching program, NUBI Ajou Conference, Campus Tour, picnincs, Pop-Art events, rowing experiences, and viewing of international sporting events as well as enjoy numerous fun activities. The main function of NUBI Ajou is to help GSIS students from foreign countries adapt to new circumstances and a different culture, thus the international students are able to participate in school activities and local events without many barriers.
NUBI Ajou members value friendship the most among members, international students and Ajou students. We believe that NUBI Ajou offeres a welcoming environment and supports cross-cultural friendships for our international students. (Join NUBI Ajou on facebook : https://www.facebook.com/nubiajou0)
Pick Up Service
NUBI Ajou offers GSIS studetns an 'Airport Pickup Service'.
Buddy-Matching Program
Each new GSIS student have 1 or 2 Nubi members when the new students come to Korea for helping adjust life in Korea. During the time, students get the help from campus life to daily life in Korea.
Trip/Activities
For close tie between the Nubi and GSIS students, various trip and activities such as sports game and visiting theme park are scheduled.
