[ETC] Temporary Gender-Neutral Toilet Operation at Yulgok Hall (June 25 (Wed) – June 28 (Sat), 2025)

Due to the 42nd World Congress of the International Association for Visual Sociology (IAVS) being held at Yulgok Hall, the men’s restrooms on the 1st and 2nd floors (west side) will temporarily operate as gender-neutral toilets.


What is a Gender-Neutral Toilet?

A gender-neutral toilet is a public restroom that anyone can use, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, or biological sex.


▢ Period: June 25 (Wed) – June 28 (Sat), 2025

▢ Location: 1st and 2nd floor west-side men’s restrooms, Yulgok Hall


▢ Notes:


- Urinals will not be available. Please use individual stalls only.


- Notices will be posted outside the restrooms to inform users that individuals of all genders may enter.


- If you feel uncomfortable, you may use restrooms located on other floors.



▢ Alternative Men’s Restroom Locations:


- 2nd floor (east side)


- 3rd floor (east and west sides)
