The Suwon Center for International Cooperation (SWCIC) is hosting the 2025 Suwon City Local Culture Program for International Students. This is a great opportunity for new international students to explore Suwon’s culture, history, and arts while engaging in meaningful exchange activities.
A. Program Overview
Title: 2025 Suwon City Local Culture Program for International Students
Date: Saturday, May 24, 2025 (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
Venue: Paldal Cultural Center and various locations around Suwon
Participants: 64 new international students from universities in the Suwon area
Participation Fee: Free of charge
Hosted by: Suwon Center for International Cooperation (SWCIC)
Program Highlights:
Opening ceremony for the Suwon City Local Culture Program
Tour of Hwaseong Haenggung and Ilwol Arboretum with English-speaking cultural interpreters
Hands-on experiences in four unique local art and cultural themes with local artists and experts
International exchange opportunities with members of Suwon’s Public Diplomacy Group
B. Application Information
Application Period: April 30 (Wed) – May 16 (Fri), 2025 (by 6:00 PM)
