Energy System Research Center holds expert training for Chinese teachers
The Energy System Research Center of Ajou University, on Nov. 16, held the “Overseas Training for Advanced Teachers from Henan Province in China” Initiative.
The initiative, sponsored by the Institute for Advanced Engineering and the Energy System Research Center, and initiated by the Henan Education Authority and Henan University of Technology, aims at providing the faculty of specialized schools from Henan Province with advanced training in their respective areas in line with the policy of the Chinese Ministry of Education.
During the training, Hyung-taek Kim of the Energy System Research Center and Professor Joo-min Kim of Ajou University introduced to the teachers Korea’s chemical engineering curriculum. Also discussed were chemical engineering curriculum management methods and general classes. The participants were also given opportunities to exchange their ideas on the curriculum and educational methods used by Korea and China.
The Chinese faculty visited not only Ajou University but also Kyungbuk University and Jeju University.
