NEW (2015-04-21) ‘LINC Bread’ event is held to encourage students during mid-term exam period

The ‘LINC (Leaders in INdustry-college Cooperation) Bread’ distribution event was held on the afternoon of April 21st at Ajou University’s Central Library square. During the event, President Dong Yeon Kim distributed bread and milk to students to cheer them up for their mid-term exams.
 
As many as 1,400 students dropped by the event booths set up at the Library square. President Kim and Vice President for Student Affairs Jai Hyoung Cho distributed bread and milk to students, along with materials introducing the programs available for student participation under the LINC Project
 
President Kim asked students their names and departments and gave them words of encouragement for the mid-term exam. Some of the students took pictures with or hugged President Kim. The event lasted for about 1.5 hours.
 
Ajou’s Student Body and the LINC Project Group organized the event to encourage students during the mid-term exam period and promote the LINC Project. Last year, Ajou University was selected for the Project led by the Ministry of Education. It is a national project that began in 2012, and aims at improving the competitiveness of domestic universities as well as local communities and corporations by upgrading the quality of university education in line with the needs of industry.
