Application for Thesis Advisor

Dear students in the 3^rd, 4^th, 5^th semester,

1. To 3^rd semester students

I am writing on the thesis advisor allocation. If you have pass the minimum requirement to be a thesis track, you can apply for Application for Thesis Advisor. Please note that the eligibility for writing

a thesis has been changed as below since 2014 fall semester.

- Research Methods Result: higher than B0
- Overall GPA: higher than 3.0 / 4.5

So, please let us know if you would like to graduate with writing a thesis or not. If you would like to be a thesis track, you should apply for the thesis advisor allocation and submit the attached Preliminary

Application form for thesis advisor from September 15th to September 18th, 2014. Then GSIS office will organize the meeting with department chair and allocate your thesis advisor no later than the end of September.

If you haven’t thought your thesis advisor, you can just let us know your intention to write a thesis first without designating a professor’s name in the application form.

If you don’t want to graduate with writing a thesis, please submit the attached Application for Non-thesis track. (Until September 18^th, 2014)

2. To 4^th and 5^th semester students

If you are in the thesis track now and have completed Research 1 in 2014 spring semester, you should be enrolled in Research 2 in 2014 fall semester. If you didn’t register Research in 2014 fall semester, please send an email to us to request to enroll that course. (Please note that we cannot add or drop other courses except Research)
